With more than 30 years of experience in roller making, Kansara group is at the forefront of technological advances in taper roller manufacturing. The company boasts an impressive in-house infrastructure from raw material inspection to final grinding. This ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified company has world’s best measuring equipments and manufacturing machines to ensure unbeatable quality of its rollers. The laboratory is equipped with Spectrometer for checking raw materials’ chemical composition, Optical Microscope with 3000X magnification and image analyzer software, Universal Testing Machine, Roundness Tester, Form Tester and Waviness Tester to name the few. The company’s tool room is equipped with machines such as CNC EDM, CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Universal Grinder, Surface Grinder and CNC Thread Grinder to design and manufacture all tooling in-house with minimum lead time.
Kansara’s Latest Ultra Modern Ultra Precision Taper Roller Grinding Line
All rollers are produced through the cold forging route for correct grain orientation and heat treated in PLC controlled furnaces with inert atmosphere. The company has dedicated heat treatment facility for both through hardened and case hardened steels. Kansara has experience in using and heat treatment of all the popular bearing steels such as SAE 52100, 100Cr6, SUJ2, AISI 8620 H, AISI 8219, AISI 8720 etc. Kansara is the only roller producer in India to have a self developed fully automated case carburising facility that caters to applications such as railways and earth moving equipments in India and abroad. Kansara uses many non-destructive checks using machine vision technologies to ensure optimum dimensional and surface quality.
The rollers are grinded in state of the art taper roller grinding lines from Modler, Germany. Modler grinding technology ensures that the production line grinds all rollers in a single diameter group having a true spherical end face and objective crowned profile with very low roughness values.
Continuing its tradition of breakthrough innovation, Kansara is pleased to announce the start of production of one more state of the art Modler taper roller grinding line with cutting edge technology created first time in the world. Rollers produced will have : 100% rollers in one diameter group, 100% end face check, 100% length check, 100% diameter measuring with least count of 10 nanometres and several other innovative features.
