May 30th, Opening Ceremony of the new KNBW plant in Wuxi, China, hosting 200 guests from around the globe. The new factory is one of the most modern JTEKT factories producing Koyo-brand bearings.

On May 30th, KNBW along with WKB, held an Opening Ceremony to celebrate our new factory which has relocated to the Hudai Industrial Park in the Binhu District of Wuxi. More than 200 guests attended this celebration including JTEKT Koyo Group Leaders: Senior Executive Director Shimatani-san, Director Yamamoto-san, COO Ken Hopkins, JCC President Kamikawa-san and VP Manufacturing James Gregory. Vice Mayor of Wuxi Cao Jiazhong, leaders from the China Bearing Industry Association, as well as Customers, Suppliers and other Community Leaders were also in attendance.
The Ceremony was well organized was conducted with a warm atmosphere. After customary speeches, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a commemorative tree planting, participants toured the new factory with the KNBW Management Team and Staff Representatives. The new KNBW plant made a very good impression and guests viewed it as one of the most modern and clean of the JTEKT Koyo bearing factories. The Opening Ceremony was a very successful event, showing a positive KNBW image of capability and entrepreneurial spirit.
